What is Molverine?+
A web-based interactive detective game. You get access to a case, investigate it on a digital evidence board, interrogate suspects (real AI), send samples to the lab, and at the end name the culprit.
Is it free?+
The demo case and the widget on the landing page are free. Full story cases are unlocked with an activation code or via paid access — prices and terms are shown at checkout.
How much does Molverine cost?+
$19.90 USD per story case — a one-off purchase, no subscription. Final price and taxes (where applicable) are shown at checkout on shop.molverine.com. The demo case on the landing page is free and does not require an account.
What is included with a case?+
Full access to one story case: the evidence board, unlimited interrogations with AI suspects, lab analyses of physical samples, in-game hints, and the final accusation phase. Progress is saved server-side — you can continue from any device on the same account.
Do I need to register?+
For the demo on the landing page — no. To open a purchased case and save progress — yes. You can sign up with Google or with email + password on /dashboard. The activation code (format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) is emailed to you after payment — enter it on the dashboard to unlock the case.
Which languages are supported?+
The interface is available in English and Russian. AI suspects reply in the language set in your preferences. You can switch language in Settings on the dashboard; before you sign in, the language follows your browser (defaulting to English).
Can I get a refund?+
The full refund policy lives on shop.molverine.com/policies/refund-policy. As a general rule for digital content: if you have not used the activation code, we issue a refund; once you have started playing the case, refunds are typically unavailable (see §6 of our Terms of Service). Mandatory consumer rights (EU/EEA, UK, etc.) are preserved — email us at molverinecorp@gmail.com.
How long does one case take?+
Anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on difficulty and how deep you want to dig.
What is the minimum age?+
Age rating is 16+. The games involve crime and violence themes (non-graphic). This matches the EU digital consent age and stays comfortably above the US COPPA threshold (13).
Are the suspects real AI or scripts?+
Each character is a GPT model with its own system prompt, backstory and secret. They remember your questions during the interrogation, react to evidence, and may slip up if you ask the right question.
Can I "break" a character with weird questions?+
We try to prevent it, but these are LLMs — they sometimes hallucinate. A nonsense answer is a gameplay quirk, not a bug. Any “fact” an NPC mentions that is not in the evidence or documents is fiction.
Is my data sent anywhere?+
The contents of your interrogation messages go to OpenAI to generate the reply. Per the OpenAI API terms, this data is not used to train models. The full list of processors is in the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?+
Go to Account → Delete account, or email molverinecorp@gmail.com from the address the account is registered to. We'll remove it within 30 days.
Can I download a copy of my data?+
Yes. In Account → Privacy there is a Download my data button — we return a JSON with everything we have: profile, activated cases, evidence board, interrogation history, submitted analyses.
I am in California. Do you sell my data?+
No. See the Do Not Sell or Share page. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising to anyone.
What if I get stuck in a case?+
Every case has built-in “nudges” — hints from the chief/colleague that appear when you idle. You can also discuss the case in our spoiler-free Telegram channel.
Can I play with friends?+
Not in the MVP — it is single-player. But you can investigate the same case in parallel on different devices and compare conclusions. Full co-op is on the roadmap.
Are mobile devices supported?+
Yes, the interface is responsive. The evidence board with many nodes is more comfortable on a tablet or desktop, though.
How do I report a bug or suggest an idea?+
Through the form on /contact or email molverinecorp@gmail.com. We try to reply within a couple of business days.
